In a world where some people are fixated on getting on the Forbes' 30 Under 30 list and achieving other early accolades, it's easy to feel defeated if success doesn't knock on your door in your early twenties.

But fear not! As we approach our late twenties, we've realised that rewriting the success narrative to celebrate the late bloomers and the ones who found their stride after the age of 30 needs to be done more. Because, let's be honest there IS life after 30 and success has no age limit. So, let's explore some of the people who have proved that:

1. J.K. Rowling:

Before enchanting the world with the magic of Hogwarts, J.K. Rowling faced her fair share of challenges. In her thirties, she was a single mother navigating the complexities of life. It was during this time that she conceived the idea for Harry Potter. The first book was published when Rowling was 32, and the rest, as they say, is literary history. Today, she stands as one of the wealthiest authors, showing us that it's never too late to create magic.

2. Stan Lee

The legendary creator of Marvel Comics, Stan Lee, didn't launch the iconic Fantastic Four until he was in his forties. He revolutionised the comic book industry, introducing flawed and relatable superheroes. Stan Lee's impact on pop culture is immeasurable, and he continues to inspire generations of comic book enthusiasts worldwide.

3. Vera Wang

Fashion powerhouse Vera Wang didn't step onto the design scene until her forties. Before transforming the bridal industry, Wang pursued a career in figure skating and journalism. It was only in her late thirties that she entered the fashion world, eventually becoming a renowned bridal gown designer. Her story is a testament to the fact that career pivots and success can blossom at any age.

4. Samuel L. Jackson

Samuel L. Jackson's cinematic legacy wasn't built overnight. The acclaimed actor struggled with addiction in his early career, and it wasn't until his forties that he rose to prominence with roles like Jules Winnfield in Pulp Fiction. Samuel's journey is a reminder that stardom doesn't adhere to a timeline, and the best performances do often come with age.
